Myth Buster

In season one of Teen Wolf, Allison Argent looks back at her roots. She discovers the famous French tale of "La Bete du Gevaudan" . This "beast" was described as history's most vicious, most famous werewolf. Allison was told that one of her ancestors killed the beast after it killed 100 people in the village of Gevaudan. Obviously, this was inferring that, just like her ancestors, Allison's family wasn't ordinary. Later on in the show, we see Allison get involved with hunting with her father, Chris Argent. She learns about the hunting code "We hunt those who hunt us" and then comes up with her own code "Nous protegeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protegereux-memes" which means "We protect those who cannot protect themselves". She also learns about the Oni and Werewolves, but is La Bete really real or is it a folklore?

Long after Allison's death in Season 3B, We come across the Dread Doctors in season 5. The Dread Doctor's mission is to create Chimera's. Chimera's are two creatures combined into one such as Theo and his "pack". However, yesterday's episode proved that they had something else up there sleeve. Liam and Hayden were the first to see La Bete in the flesh and alive. It was, later in the episode, that Chris and Gerard Argent claimed that the La Bete had no purpose but to kill.

QOTW: What are your thoughts on how Crystal Reed (formally known as "Allison Argent") is coming back to Teen Wolf but as an Argent ancestor?

  1. My thoughts about Crystal Reed coming back to the show for an episode is that I think it is good for the diehard TW fanatics. I think people will have a different look towards the Argent family. Nice post!
