Rant

Image result for pro choice
Hey guys, it's KW! As a young feminist, I've been wanting to rant about this topic for a while now. Since my teacher picked the topic of rants, this is the perfect opportunity.

To start off, I want to explain what it's like to be Pro-Choice. Pro-Choice is a movement that supports the view that it should be legal for women to have an elective abortion. I COMPLETELY AGREE!!

LET'S BEGIN:
  •  A woman has ownership over her OWN body. Not anyone else. Don't force someone to raise a baby in their body without wanting to.
    • No one has the right to put restrictions on her own body.
    • Abortion itself a very difficult choice to make. If they do go through with it, they have their reasons.
    • Forcing someone to have a baby created by rape, for example.
    • Forcing someone to have a baby when they can't even support themselves, another example.
  • Abortion is NOT murder.
    • Even if you think abortion is bad, you think murder is worse.
    • None have even considered the death penalty for women who have abortion and for the doctors who perform it.
    • Also none know when life begins.
  • If you cannot have abortion, then the genders are not equal.
    • Woman cannot be forced to be caretakers against their will.
    • Woman have the right to choose their own destinies.
  • Almost every abortion performed after 20 weeks is done on a wanted pregnancy.
    • This means that "Pro-Life" people are calling people who miscarried murders.
    • Fun Fact: They used to use a different procedure for these abortions in which they removed the fetus intact and allowed these people to grieve for the fetus, have pictures, etc.
    • Pro-lifers decided people losing a wanted pregnancy should not be allowed to grieve.
  • The Pro-Life Movement  is intentionally emotionally hurting those who have miscarried and those who are having rough times.
  • You need to put yourself in the person's shoes.
Overall, people who are Pro-Life need to mind their own f****** business because it's not your body.

poem

Spork

misunderstood and empty
is it a spoon?
or is it a fork?
it is unknown among many

what’s it’s purpose?
to scoop?
or to stab food?

it’s lost and afraid
it has two paths to take
which will it chose?

never accepted
will never be real silverware
always will be just a sad plastic
what’s the point?

is it created just to be criticized?
unneeded and useless
what choice does it have?
to continue to live in a crushing sadness?
or to strive to be the best it possibly can?

it becomes tired and uninspired
always lying in the cabinet
bent and damaged

can never fully pick up food
or even scoop for that matter
teased and broken
questions itself

should it continue to live with this emptiness that it beholds?
or should to change itself?

but what should it be?
Why can’t it just be itself?

in the end
there is really no difference
because it doesn’t matter how you get the food
it only matters that you did it

and yes
a spork happens to be able to pick up food
in both ways

it shouldn’t have to doubt itself
yes, it’s special
what’s so wrong about that?

why that in this society,
we have to feel wrong about being unique?
it’s something that we should hold treasure

we need to accept ourselves the way were are
the only opinion that matters is yours
forget the others

why do we need to fill ourselves with self loathing
never seeing anything good about ourselves
is it because we don't feel enough?

people need  realize that we can't change for them
we don’t have to live up to their expectations
we don’t have to be who they want to be

just be YOU
not her not him
just you…

it doesn't matter where you come from
or what your wear on your feet
or even what music you enjoy
in truth
we will never be enough so just be yourself
and stop pretending
we don't have to live with this hurt forever
we can be better
we just have to try

anyways

why would one chose a fork
or even spoon
when you can have a significant

spork

Review

\
HeLLo!  This week I will be writing a review on one of my great friend's story that is named, and based, after the Twenty One Pilots song "A car, A torch, A death".
First of all, if you haven't listened to the song, please click the link: A car, A torch, A death
Basically, the story(in short) is about a guy named Tyler whose wife, Jenna, got into a car crash and later on died. The story and the song go hand in hand corresponding the the meaning of it all.
In my opinion, the song is about a wife who is very ill and when she passes, she gives her lover her heart to keep. When he says the "demon stood there waiting on her porch", the demon is the grim reaper the symbolizes death. When he stays for the night, the reaper swoops in, starting to take her. He feels the chill in his bones. He sees that her life is coming to a nearing end. He sees God with a torch ready to guide the way for his wife, Tyler tells God that he'll take the grave in place of his wife. (Like how Jesus died for his people in the Christian faith) "Please just send them my way" refers again to her demons. He would rather face them all than his beloved wife. "I began to understand why god died" means that he knows what its like to love unconditionally and so deeply for someone that you'd tale all their pain and burdens, even if it takes your life.
I absolutely love how Dani wrote this story. It is so perfect. The story is actually accurate and goes along with the song. I also love a story that can make Mr. Ravenda cry. To me, there are no mistakes or plot holes in it. It's very emotionally and once again just PERFECT!

Parody

Hey guys KW here again! This week my teacher decided to stop being depressing and ask us to write satires or parodies. In my opinion none of the crap that I looked up was the least bit funny, so I decided to make up my own with inspiration from this picture above.  (Beware: I'm not funny ,but at least I tried.)

Tumblr is the core website for all the fandoms. It's basically the reason why none of the teenagers in this generation get any sleep at all. Full of memes, fanfics, and relatable posts, It is very difficult to get off of. I've come to the solution that they are VAMPIRES. Yes, I said it, VAMPIRES. They are the demonic beings that your children should be terrified of. They are the ones that lurk out in the night ready to reblog and IM. However, THEY CAN BE BEAT! TRUST ME!

These are the ways you can rid off these pesky Tumblr addicts/ vampires for good:

  1.  LOTS OF HOLY WATER (They need jesus.)
  2. Turn off the Wifi. (WARNING: If they find out it was you who turned it off, you should sleep with one eye open.)
  3. In the morning, turn on all of the lights, open all of the windows, and wake them up. (This burns their soul.)
  4. On the days that they do come outside, put them in really awkward social situations. (Most are very awkward turtles when put out on the spot.)
  5. Trash their laptop. (You might get murdered after.)
I hope this helped you fight off those vampires. I also hope that you got my terrible joke.... *heavily sighs*

QOTW: Who do you think are vampires in this school?

Life Lesson

"Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was, as you all know, exceptionally hard working, infinitely fair-minded, and most importantly, a fierce, fierce friend. Therefore, I feel you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered, by Lord Voldemort. The Ministry of Magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I feel would be an insult to his memory. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, and, reminds us, that though we may come from different countries and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of the recent events, the bonds of friendship made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that, and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain. You remember that, and we'll celebrate a boy who was kind, and honest, and brave, and true. Right to the very end."

Hey guys, it's KW! This week I will be talking about the horrible death of Cedric Diggory and the life lesson that I've learnt from it. Cedric was the Quidditch captain and seeker of the Hufflepuff team in The Goblet of Fire Harry Potter Series. He befriended Harry when they both were chosen to represent Hogwarts to win the Inter-House Quidditch Cup in the Triwizard Tournament.

During this, Cedric gained against overwhelming support from the student body. He completed the first two tasks and tied for first place with Harry. Together, they completed the third task and took hold of the Triwizard Cup, which transported them to the Little Hangleton Graveyard. There Cedric was murdered haven been hexed by the killing curse from Peter Pettigrew, who was following the orders given by Lord Voldemort.

The death of Cedric symbolizes how the Dark Lord showed no mercy to those who oppose him; not even to children. When I read this for the first time, I was completely heart broken. It was like his death made me see thing in a new perspective.

Obviously, the world is not all rainbows and unicorns. However, reading that scene uncovered the world even more to  me. If you think about it, Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters symbolize all the "darkness" in this society. He showed no mercy just like other people in history such as Hitler and his Nazis. It made me aware of what's around me.

Although it's very depressing to know, the world isn't as great as it seems. Especially in today's world, we see humans but where has all the humanity gone? We can't put our faith in anyone. We only have to depend on ourselves.

We can't look at the world as a dark and sad place all the time. There is always a balance. With every bad person in this world, there are some good people like Cedric. It's sad that we appreciate the good people more when they are gone.

I've learned to appreciate people more and open my eyes to see the good and bad.

Myth Buster

In season one of Teen Wolf, Allison Argent looks back at her roots. She discovers the famous French tale of "La Bete du Gevaudan" . This "beast" was described as history's most vicious, most famous werewolf. Allison was told that one of her ancestors killed the beast after it killed 100 people in the village of Gevaudan. Obviously, this was inferring that, just like her ancestors, Allison's family wasn't ordinary. Later on in the show, we see Allison get involved with hunting with her father, Chris Argent. She learns about the hunting code "We hunt those who hunt us" and then comes up with her own code "Nous protegeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protegereux-memes" which means "We protect those who cannot protect themselves". She also learns about the Oni and Werewolves, but is La Bete really real or is it a folklore?

Long after Allison's death in Season 3B, We come across the Dread Doctors in season 5. The Dread Doctor's mission is to create Chimera's. Chimera's are two creatures combined into one such as Theo and his "pack". However, yesterday's episode proved that they had something else up there sleeve. Liam and Hayden were the first to see La Bete in the flesh and alive. It was, later in the episode, that Chris and Gerard Argent claimed that the La Bete had no purpose but to kill.

QOTW: What are your thoughts on how Crystal Reed (formally known as "Allison Argent") is coming back to Teen Wolf but as an Argent ancestor?

Conspiracy Theory

Maya is Alive !?!?

image
Hey guys its KW! This week I'll be giving you my take on the Maya is Alive Theory that has been circulating through the PLL fandom on tumblr recently.

This picture on the left is a tweet that Marlene (creator of Pretty Little Liars) allegedly posted but then deleted in seconds. Coincidence? I think not.

Even without that this speaks volumes...

Moving on to her "death"... It was said that Nate/Lyndon killed her but he never admitted to that.
In the episode 3x12 when Emily asks "Did you bring me here to kill me too?" Nate replies with "I'm going to do to you what you did to me. I'm going to take something from you. And you are going to watch me do it." He coincidentally avoids Emily's question because he didn't do it. My thoughts are that even if he "loved" Maya and stalked her, he didn't kill her because he "cared" for her somewhere in his sick and psychotic heart. He just wanted to kill Emily for "taking Maya away from him".

Going back to where "her" body was found... The scene was very familiar to when "Ali's" body was found. As we know that wasn't even Ali's body, so perhaps it wasn't even Maya's. Neither scene showed a body and as we know the body is confirmation on PLL.
"Ali's" body
"Maya's" body
I think that these constant parallels between Maya and Ali suggest that Maya isn't really dead just like how Ali wasn't really dead.

Now remember what Mona said when she was in Radley?
"Miss Aria, you're a killer, not Ezra's wife" and "No one to save Ali from evil"
Her riddles were "MAYA KNEW" and "NOT SAFE"
From this I can infer that Maya knew about A or the A team, therefore she wasn't safe any longer.

How would Maya know? Here are some clues..

Maya moved into Ali's old house, In 1x01, she was throwing out some of Ali's stuff and later she brought MORE stuff to Jason. She could've easily gone through Ali's diary or went through her belongings.

Remember where Maya worked? She worked at Lucky Leon's Cupcakes. She could've seen A order Hanna's cupcakes. If she did read Ali's diaries then she would have known about "Hefty Hanna" and then put two and two together.

One last clue as to why Maya knew about "A" or Ali being alive was when Spencer saw a blonde in Maya's bedroom. Perhaps Ali snuck into get some of her belongs and Maya saw her.

I think that Maya knew that her life was in danger and it wasn't because of "Nate". In her video Maya states "I've said so many wrong things to you. Emily we needed to take to time to get it right. I'm staying at Noel Khan's cabin trying to find my way out of the mess that I got myself into. And I not totally sure but I think that stalker saw me. I thought I saw him at a party the other night. But this isn't about him, it's about us."  Could the mess be confronting the A team?

Also when Maya talked about "Nate" she didn't seem afraid. Think about it, when "Nate" calls we don't see her phone to see who is actually calling.Perhaps it's A threatening her.

I think that ,in order to protect Emily, Maya faked her own death. Like when Toby pretended to not be with Spencer to protect her.

We all know that Maya really loved and cared for Emily. She would do anything to see her happy, even if that meant letting her go.

Remember that video Noel sent to Spencer of the cameras at his cabin? I think Noel helped "Maya"leave. Noel has never wanted to help the liars before so why now? As we know Maya stayed at his cabin, they were friends, so he would want to help her. He knew exactly where the cameras would be. He could have told someone to grab Maya but to stay out of view. Thus the liars think that she was grabbed but she really wasn't.

QOTW: What are your thoughts on Maya's "death". Do you think she will return in 6B?
